NaPoWriMo Day Twelve: Dissolution

Our marriage
fell away

We were friendly
distant
roommates
with no where for me to
store my love for you

I couldn't dismantle
the walls
you would build
quick enough

and then you were gone.

Before I was ever sure that you knew
How much I love you.

Hi! Thank you for the visit! Grab a plate and a sweet tea and let's dig in. It may take a while, but I always try to reply and return visits.
