  1. Wow! Still going? Impressive! I'm actually pretty drained, so I'm going to take a week off.

As for the content of your poem, it's a wonderful feeling, isn't it? Is that a particular form similar to tanka/haiku or did you come up with the form on the fly?

    1. Thank you Bizza, and welcome to the lasagna! I think it has become a habit. I had this feeling like I hadn't done something that I was supposed to do this morning that went away after I posted.

The feeling that inspired my poem is awesome. My little guy is three and had a perfect smile on his face this morning when he sat next to me.

The form is a cinquain, and has become a favorite of mine. I think I read about it two months ago. It is similar to the haiku form in that you are limited to a number of syllables per line.

I don't think it has content or rhyme restrictions, but I do tend to ignore form rules I don't like :)

Thanks for the visit, and enjoy the break.

  2. Enjoy them and the moments with them. Breathe, enjoy your successes. Quite a month of writing.

    1. Thanks! It's like I'm sitting in a wagon speeding down a hill hoping that I don't crash at the end.

Hi! Thank you for the visit! Grab a plate and a sweet tea and let's dig in. It may take a while, but I always try to reply and return visits.
