Submitted: 11/18/13 to minlovemisery for her color prompt today. I think this is one of my most favorite things that I've written, like, ever.  It was originally written for NaPoWriMo in April. I haven't changed any of the wording, but, if you want, you can click Blue to see the original post.

  5. I did a re-post too, as my mind was a little too fuzzy to concentrate. This tells a tale of lost love and sadness but beautifully penned.

  6. I don't know which I loved more: the beautifully sad poem or your very friendly postscript which I was happily surprised to hear.

    1. Thank you! I am so happy that you liked the poem and the reading. I'll write it again, this is one of my favorites. Also, I love reading poetry aloud, and I have been accused of liking the sound of my own voice...

    1. Hi sweet Anna! Thank you. I tend to post almost immediately and rarely revise my poetry. So, when I eventually reread my poetry, I tend to have three reactions. The most common, unfortunately, is a laugh and a "what the hell was I thinking?" But I also get to have the occasional "well, that's not so bad" or maybe a "hey, that's good."

Hi! Thank you for the visit! Grab a plate and a sweet tea and let's dig in. It may take a while, but I always try to reply and return visits.
