So, why poetry?
If you aren't a Poet
If you're prosaic?
Why always default
To short forms
And little verses?
It's my
Attention span
I have none to speak of
I prefer things to be easy
Mostly
Poetry meets that
Need in me to write
now, right now.
The short form keeps me
Mostly on
Track ...mostly focused
Sometimes
It's a release
Emotional vomit
Sometimes I just want to write big
Monsters.
