NaPoWriMo Day Ten: I Didn't Even Title This Poem

How will
I know what
Joins humanity in
Knit tightly groups called families
Love ... it

Might be
Nice to think that
Old ancient drives like
People's emotions can call up
Quiet

Romance
Seeped deep into
These bones that hold us to
Us ... We stay together for the
Varied

Walks, like
Xena seeking
Yet another chance to
Zealously protect what is dear
A brave

Brave chance.
Chance to connect.
Dear to each other, we
Engage in this family dance
Fully

Guide love.

I am playing catch up. That's why I am attempting an abecedarian poem at 3:00 in the fucking morning. This is what happens. But ... yay! Cinquains! Am I right?

  1. I love cinquains! Yours especially! Also, there's no guidebook for this... So just keep writing!

  2. Thanks Barry! Cinquains make me happy, especially if I'm stuck.

Hi! Thank you for the visit! Grab a plate and a sweet tea and let's dig in. It may take a while, but I always try to reply and return visits.
